2.35 vs. 2.40 'scope screens

And then there is Seymour screen, which splits the difference with a 2.37:1 screen ratio !

When it comes down to 2:35 vs 2:4 (or anything between) don't sweat it.  It's all a tiny difference.

Mike, isn't it something like 8 pixels on the top and bottom as far as difference between the two ARs?

Yes, you lose approximately 8 lines of pixels top and bottom. Small difference.

I have a couple of months, if I'm lucky, before my theater room is built so I have time to decide on 2.35 or 2.40.

Since the 16:9 size is so much smaller, I would go with 2.35, so that your 16:9 image is slightly larger, than it would be with 2.40.
