Is there a way to toggle between the calibrated and stock states of the projector to demo for my wife and friends the benefit of calibration? Could the init file be loaded into one of the user profiles?

Restoring the Init file will undo all the calibration you have done. 

Each calibration affects a certain subset of settings (as discussed previously) so for A/B comparison you can toggle between a calibrated mode and an uncalibrated mode.  However, there will be other differences not directly attributable to calibration.

As an example, I’ve calibrated high lamp, no filter, iris 0, so to compare before and after, I simply change the iris from -3 to -4 and that shows me after and before with no delay

That would change the colour calibration but not the gamma calibration. The latter affects colour tracking.

Would changing the iris from 0 to -1 turn off the calibration, or would I have to go all the way to -4?

As Dom mentioned what I am doing affects only color calibration...you would have to go to -4 with the iris. 0 to -3 is one table, -4 to -7 is another table...

At least a -3 to -4 toggle wouldn't be as big a jump in brightness as from 0 to -4.

I suppose the alternative would be to use Autocal to load in, alternately, the init file and the most recent cbd file - but that would take too long to easily remember what things looked like between the two.

So wouldn't it make the most sense to calibrate for a middle value of the range, to avoid the maximum drift?

The “chromatic drifts” of the automatic iris, caused by gamma manipulation, cannot be calibrated out.

Figured out how to deal with the problem I had mentioned last week, where some UHD disks came up extremely dark until I re-seated the HDMI cable.

There's apparently an authoring quirk on some disks (the ones that do this tend to have similar-looking menu bars on the opening screen) that triggers a "video mute" problem when first inserted into my Oppo 203.

Since what re-seating the HDMI cable did was force a new HDMI handshake, I found I could accomplish the same thing by just picking up the remote for my AVR and switching to another source and back to my Oppo, bringing the image back to normal.

Hi all! New to the game. Nx7,spyderx did gamma and color. The bt2020 is really grey and washed out. I’ve playing with this all week. Really need help. I have followed all the step by step instructions but no go. I want to reset the projector to factory but it looks
