I got this Friday and only had a short amount of time to pre-view it. It looks fabulous for a 50 year old film. Certainly far better than on any previous format. More later when I've had a chance to watch the entire movie.

This kind of dates me, but seeing 2001 in the theaters when it first came out was the first date for my wife and I.  It blew my mind!  While some parts do drag, I still enjoy watching it.  I'm waiting for the price to drop a bit, and will probably double-dip here, at least for old-times sake!

You will be shocked at how good the 4K remaster looks !
