Does someone know if I have my denon x6500 up convert my Nintendo switch to 4k to my projector, will this increase my input lag, more so if I just have my projector up convert

I have “game” selected in denon under the input of my Nintendo switch

Don't know, but really, you would be the best judge of that.

In theory, yes, the processing does take a few milliseconds to happen. Will you notice or not is another thing?

Thanks Dave
on a side note, do you know what’s the recommended power on power off sequence should be for my AVR, source and soon to be replaced projector?

ive always been doing source, AVR, then projector for power on. And power off in reverse?  Is this correct?

I turn my projector off first since if another source goes off first it instigates a HDMI handshake which can interrupt the "power + Power" for power off of the projector. Does this make sense?

Same here - I power on the projector last, off first. Everything else just gets turned on prior to the projector, and off after the projector, in no specific order.
