So the pros of a b-stock model are pretty self-explanatory but what are the cons? Is there far more variation from unit to unit than you’d see with a new one?

Not sure about unit variations. Only one year warranty from JVC is one disadvantage ( a Mack warranty can fix that ). The biggest con is we can't get very many right now. Like almost none !

Cons
Only one year warranty.
No advanced replacement.
Some hours on the projector.
Some hours on the lamp.

4500 B-stock available. Note the 4500 does have 3 year warranty. First one in nearly a year. Call us for details.

We were told there would not be any more RS1000/NX5's nor RS2000/NX7's, new or B-stock. Apparently that was not true.
