I don't have the Radiance Pro yet to properly scale scope movies, but just using the anamorphic mode in the RS4500 tonight to mount the lens and kind of check it out, I already have to say that this is the best anamorphic lens I've tried in my 15+ years of home theater ! Even at my short throw of around the minimum 1.41, it sharp all the way to the edges. Amazing ! Can't wait to use the Radiance Pro for even more resolution, lumens and proper scaling. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 sure looked amazing though !

I have used the Oppo with my RS4500 and with my RS640, paired with my A-lens. What do you want to know? The Oppo can do vertical stretch with 4K 60p HDR content. So can the 4500.

Okay, was just curious.  What is the difference between the Paladin & Paladin DCR lenses?  Isn't the DCR for the Sony 4k models because of their different panel resolution?

So with my RS-500 mounted about 19ft from screen and screen width of 118" wide would the throw work with the Paladin lens with little to no distortion?

It needs to scale to 4096 to use the entire 4K panel resolution on the RS4500. I don't think the Oppo can do that.

The regular Paladin lens doesn't need to scale to 4096, just the DCR. I'm finding these vertical compression lenses to work much better than the horizontal expansion lenses I've used in the past. The black single pixel test pattern looked the same as no lens. And the fact that I can use this DCR lens at a throw of 1.41:1 without hardly any distortion is amazing. It's the only lens that could possibly work in my theater - and it works really well.

Correct. The DCR is made to be used with projectors that can use the full width of the 4K chip. 19' with 118" wide screen would have a tiny bit of edge distortion.

Unfortunately, with the way the front of the projector closet is built, there is no room for a transport unless it swung the lens out of the way. This lens is meant to stay in place and never move. However, even though this lens is being graciously loaned to me to test by Shawn Kelly of Panamorph ( hence the temporary mount ) and a Lumagen Radiance Pro is also  being graciously loaned to me to test by Jim Peterson of Lumagen, if I decided to acquire them ( more likely every day - more tests this week ), I can easily move it out of the way with a simple hinge in about 3 seconds. I've already designed a permanent mounting system!

Correct - and the RS4500 also has native 4096 x 2160 resolution. Here's some handy info -
