I check it weekly and wait at least 15 minutes just to be safe.

Same here.

I only check it after changing aspect ratios with lens memory, using the single black pixel resolution pattern under misc. test patterns - http://diversifiedvideosolutions.com/

I have the test patterns on a thumb drive plugged into the front USB port on my UB900. Takes me maybe one minute now to dial in focus super sharp ! Far easier / more accurate than just hitting the focus button on the projector remote !

You really find that the single pixel makes that much difference when focusing?

The entire screen is covered with black pixels, and it makes getting the focus super sharp far easier to my eyes.  :)

I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right pattern, but when I load that one up I see a white screen (i.e. from far).  When I go close and examine it, the pixels are magenta (obviously imperfect convergence).

Is the one?

Miscellaneous Setup Patterns / Resolution Patterns / Resolution Black Pixels Single - that's the one. Once you play with it you can see when those pixels are tack sharp.

What does everyone have their picture tone set to for hdr gamma preset? I'm struggling to find a happy place. Right now I'm at +3.

I'm not sure those numbers I posted are useful, without seeing the entire calibration. But you guys asked ! I'm not using the stock HDR pre-set - Jeff made quite a few adjustments to it when he calibrated my projector.

Do you have the Panasonic dynamic slider at zero or above?

So there is a long shot that I might get this projector in the next couple of weeks. Does it seem silly for my environment?

110" 16x9 ST130
14.5 Throw
Projector mounted in a separate room, basically no sound from projector can be heard. Can use high laser if I want.

If my calculations are correct i could be looking at 90 fl for HDR movies, surely that would be too bright?

2500 calibrated lumens, x 1.3 / 35.89 screen
HT - RS2000 - ST130 - RMC-1 - XPA-7 - XPA-5 - GE Triton 2 - GE Supercenter XXL - GE Invisa 650 x 8 - Xbox One X - PS4 Pro - Oppo BDP-203 - Kalediscape Strato - HTPC 2080ti-  Dual SVS PB16-Ultra's - Lumagen Radiance Pro

Currently I like it at +4. However, I happen to have Chad B coming Tuesday to load custom gamma curves and do his thing calibrating for HDR, so things may change. He is making a rare visit to Northern CA so I thought I'd see what he can do. If he can leave Jeff's settings and use the unused user slots for his calibration, I'll be able to pick and choose !

It sounds perfect. I have a 122" 16:9 Cima neve and a 128" d. 2.35:1 ST130, and a projector closet. I'd say that like me you could run medium laser for 4K HDR and low laser for 1080p / Blu Ray and never have any dimming of your projector. I get 18 foot lamberts for Blu-ray ( low laser ) and 38 foot lamberts for 4K HDR ( medium laser ).
