My room: 16' wide by 18' deep x 7.5' height. Sony ES40 projector on a 110" screen. I have a Triad 3.0 for my Center, Front L/R and Rear L/R running on an old Yamaha 5.1 AV Receiver. I just got a new Integra 7.2 AV Receiver and want to install decent Mid L/Rs & Rear L/Rs plus a 2nd sub. The problem is, I failed(miserably) when installing my cabling and didn't include cables behind the projector for the Rear L/R speakers. Also, I placed the Mid L/R speakers at each end of the 110" screen, so my front wall has 5 speakers. The current 5.1 Rear info is decent sounding but definitely not optimal. I believe part of the problem is they are cheap, small Infinity speakers. Now that I have a 7.2 system, I plan on replacing them with a higher end speaker but hoping to leave them in the same place and using them for my Mid L/R. To get the Rear L/R moved to an area equal to or behind the projector, I have come up with 2 possible scenarios. Scenario 1) I can pull out my projector's HDMI & Ethernet cables and pull them back in along with speaker cables and mount the Rear L/R speakers to the sides of my projector, but the 1" conduit connecting my head end and the projector is already pretty tight. I know, I should have installed 1.5" conduit. Yet another fail. That said, without having to pull out, re-pull my cabling to the projector and setting the Rear L/R speakers on the sides of the projector facing downward, are there any wireless surrounds that will accommodate my needs? I don't want to settle for low-end wireless speakers, have any signal delay or ill-equip my theatre. Scenario 2) This would be the least labor intensive option. I can add 2 speaker cables from my head-end to the top of the screen and then run the cables to an area on the front wall where they are off-set from the Triad & Mid L/Rs. This would be about 4 ft past the Mid speakers' position. This would put all 7 speakers on the front wall but there would be about 16 ft between the farthest 2 speakers. Any help is appreciated.
