From the Toy Robot press release:
On December 15, you wanted the best, you got the best when Detroit Rock City makes its worldwide 4K UHD premiere! Director Adam Rifkin (The Dark Backward) delivers the ultimate rock 'n' roll road trip comedy, following four friends willing to do just about anything to see KISS live in concert. This Dual Format release features both a 4K UHD and Blu-ray disc, with the film presented on both discs, along with special features.
Hawk (Edward Furlong, Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Trip (James DeBello, American Pie), Jam (Sam Huntington, Not Another Teen Movie) and Lex (Giuseppe Andrews, Cabin Fever) are high schoolers with their own KISS cover band and a mutual dream. The foursome has scored tickets to see the real KISS at a sold-out concert in Detroit, but one of their deeply religious mothers derails their chance to rock and roll all night and party every day. Refusing to miss their idols on stage, the boys embark on a wild journey, determined to make it to the show by any means necessary. Rocking out to the KISS soundtrack are Lin Shaye (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets), Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), Shannon Tweed (Gene Simmons Family Jewels), Joe Flaherty (SCTV), and KISS.
Special features include a new 4K scan of the original camera negative in a 4K (2160p) UHD Blu-ray presentation in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible); optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing; brand-new interviews with director Adam Rifkin, actress Lin Shaye and production designer Steve Hardie; three audio commentaries with director Adam Rifkin, cast and crew, and KISS; Miscellaneous S**t documentary; Look into the Sun featurette; Cutting Room Floor; deleted scenes; two music videos; and the theatrical trailer.

This was a bit of a cult hit. Good to see it getting a grand treatment.
