From the Toy Robot press release:
On December 8, travelers will be betting on black when the blockbuster aviation thrill ride Passenger 57 lands on 4K UHD. Director Kevin Hooks (Strictly Business) takes audiences 35,000 feet into the air, where a violent hostage situation leaves one man standing between the passengers and a ruthless terrorist. This Dual Format release features both a 4K UHD and Blu-ray disc, with the film presented on both discs in a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, along with special features.
FBI agents transport dangerous terrorist Charles Rane (Bruce Payne, Dungeons & Dragons) from Miami to Los Angeles on an Atlantic International flight. His cold-blooded gang has a detailed plan to free him and hijack the airplane. They factored in everything except Passenger 57. John Cutter (Wesley Snipes, Blade) teaches anti-terrorism techniques to flight crews but now finds himself putting those lessons to the ultimate test. Along for the turbulent ride are Tom Sizemore (Natural Born Killers), Alex Datcher (Jury Duty), Bruce Greenwood (Exotica), Elizabeth Hurley (Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery) and Michael Horse (Twin Peaks).
Special features include a new 4K scan of the original camera negative in a 4K (2160p) UHD Blu-ray presentation in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible); optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing; a brand-new interview with writer Stewart Raffill; and a new 2K scan of the original theatrical trailer.
