From the Arrow Video press release:
On November 17, the mythological world explodes when the original Clash of the Titans from 1981 makes its worldwide premiere on 4K UHD. Special effects wizard Ray Harryhausen used his Dynamation techniques to bring the Greek myth of Perseus to the silver screen in one of his most celebrated fantasy adventures. The Limited Edition release features a brand-new 4K restoration from the original 35mm negative by Arrow Films. A Limited Edition Blu-ray release will also be available.
Born into a world ruled by gods, monsters and fate, Perseus (Harry Hamlin, Mad Men) is unaware that his real father is Zeus (Laurence Olivier, Marathon Man). When the goddess Thetis transports him to the city of Joppa, Perseus falls in love with the beautiful Princess Andromeda (Judi Bowker, The Shooting Party). Winning her hand won’t be easy. He must first overcome her former suitor Calibos (Neil McCarthy, Time Bandits), the son of Thetis (Maggie Smith, Downton Abbey), who still holds power over Andromeda after being transformed into a monstrous creature by Zeus. Perseus must ultimately face giant scorpions, the Gorgon Medusa and the fearsome Kraken to save the princess. Burgess Meredith (Rocky), Ursula Andress (Dr. No) and Claire Bloom (The King’s Speech) are among the cast of gods and mortals.
Special features include a 4K (2160p) Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible), restored original lossless stereo and new Dolby Atmos audio options, optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing, an archival audio interview conducted with Ray Harryhausen at the BFI in 1981, an archival audio interview with Ray Harryhausen and longtime producer Charles Schneer at the BFI, Courage & Imagination: Ray Harryhausen’s Mythic Adventure, a brand-new feature-length documentary celebrating Clash of the Titans and the work of Ray Harryhausen, Ray Harryhausen discusses the film and the main creatures, theatrical trailers, image galleries, a double-sided foldout poster, and a collectors’ perfect-bound booklet.

Ray Harryhausen reteamed with writer Beverley Cross after Jason and the Argonauts and Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger for what would be his last feature film. Noteworthy for the talent involved, it introduced the mythological characters and creatures to a new generation, sparking their imagination. This should be a nice treat in 4K, and the included full-length documentary should prove to be fascinating.
