Title: Cheapest way to upgrade your home theater?

What's the cheapest way to upgrade your home theater? I'd say to treat the room acoustics. What are your thoughts?

Room acoustics is a good start. I would also say to learn how to use REW and MSO (if you have multiple subs). Arguably the combination of those three things have improved my home theater experience.

room treatments for sure!  

light control would be second imho
