This was an incredible series that seized upon society's anxiety of the end of the last century and grafting various fictional themes and elements to weave fascinating stories. My wife and I started watching this because of its creative connection to The X-Files, but the show stood on its own, with a different feel and tone.
Sadly, the show did not make it to its own name, as it was cancelled after the third season in 1999.
I'm looking forward to watching this one and reliving some of the angst from the end of that era. Maybe we'll actually get a Blu-ray release of the full series, which I'd love to own.
