Venom: The Last Dance: A non-Spoiler review:
I don’t review much here anymore because, rightfully, our members are more concerned about the quality of the disc reproduction than just the quality of gthe movie.
And, because I am reviewing a veery recent movie, I must be very careful and not give away ANYTHING.
Venom: The Last Dance is the third film in this series. As I wrote before, every movie must be a sequel or part of a franchise. Venom is both!
Here, Tom Hardy continues his role as Eddie Brock and Venom, a modern day Jekyll and Hyde, except he plays both characters at once. The movie is part comedy, part adventure and part horror. And, for those reasons, it may surprise you but the movie reminded me of Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, with Tom Hardy playing both Abbott and Costello!
If you liked the first two movies, I believe that you will like this one. I did, but there times enough! They really have gotten everything they can out of the character.
There is no very original script here, Brock and Venom attempt to travel from the West Coast to the East coast, trailed by the military and outer space (or outer dimension) monsters. They land in Area 51. All sorts of battles begin!
I saw it in a Dolby theatre and the sound was very good. The special effects were also good, but not inventive or outstanding. The movie does have a conclusion.
There are two extra scenes, one halfway through the credits and another after the credits.
Small Spoiler Alert:
While they do finish the Brock trilogy, they certainly open the door for even more sequels. Enough is not enough.

I hope you change your mind about that, Barry. I'm much more interested in the quality of the movie, especially the story aspect, than the visual or audio quality. Not that those aren't important, but they take a back seat to the guts of the film itself.

Same, although movies are an art form. Sometimes you want steak. Sometimes you want some cotton candy. But a bad movie that looks and sounds top notch on disc is the very definition of " polishing a turd ". I for one have had zero interest in any of the Venom films. Same with the Transformer series of films. As was said in the movie " Whiplash " - not my tempo!

Agreed with the others Barry - please don't shy away from writing what you want! I think most of us really enjoy your input.
There are times when I can enjoy a shiny turd but only so many. There is probably an FDA "monthly turd allowance" stat out there.
