From acclaimed writer/director/producer Todd Phillips comes Joker: Folie À Deux, the follow-up to 2019’s Academy Award-winning Joker, which earned more than $1 billion at the global box office. The new film stars Joaquin Phoenix once again in his Oscar-winning dual role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, opposite Oscar winner Lady Gaga (“A Star Is Born”). Joker: Folie À Deux debuts for purchase and rental digitally at home on October 29.

On December 17, Joker: Folie À Deux will be available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD from online and physical retailers. Joker: Folie À Deux will also continue to be available to own in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.

Joker: Folie À Deux finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that's always been inside him.

The film also stars Oscar nominees Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Catherine Keener (Get Out, Capote), alongside Zazie Beetz, reprising her role from Joker.

Phillips, who received Oscar nominations for directing, writing and producing Joker, directed Joker: Folie À Deux from a screenplay co-written with fellow Oscar nominee Scott Silver, based on characters from DC. The film was produced by Phillips, Oscar nominee Emma Tillinger Koskoff and Joseph Garner. Lady Gaga served as music consultant. The film’s executive producers are Michael E. Uslan, Georgia Kacandes, Silver, Mark Friedberg and Jason Ruder.

Joker: Folie À Deux Premium Digital Ownership, 4K UHD and Blu-ray contain the following special features:

          Can I Have a Cigarette?
          Finding Lee
          A Hundred Films in One
          King of Nothing

Running Time: 138 minutes

Rating: R for some strong violence, language throughout, some sexuality, and brief full nudity

Against my better judgement, I requested a copy for review. Hopefully I can get through the entire film.

I don't recall seeing it as an option for any of the threads in this particular section, just on others, but I may have missed some.

The "Like" feature seems to be a forum setting, based on looking around. For example, here in "AVS Discussions (https://discuss.avscience.com/index.php?action=forum) / Movie and TV Discussion (https://discuss.avscience.com/index.php?action=forum#c9) / Upcoming Releases (https://discuss.avscience.com/index.php?board=103.0) there are no like buttons available anywhere. In the Discussions (https://discuss.avscience.com/index.php?action=forum) / Movie and TV Discussion (https://discuss.avscience.com/index.php?action=forum#c9) / Movie Reviews (https://discuss.avscience.com/index.php?board=103.0) forum they are there (including the main topic listing page), and then in the TV Series (https://discuss.avscience.com/index.php?board=103.0) section, they're also missing.

We will pray for you. This is one of the worst movies I have seen this century.  There is just so much time you want to spend with a homicidal maniac who cannot sing.  The first movie was enough.  Oh, and this one tries to be a musical! David, be afraid, be very afraid!

I think I liked the coming attraction better.  There were four people in the theatre when we went.  The usher actually said that when people left, they were glad it was over.  We knew it was bad, but admission to the Dolby theatre was $7. we wanted to see how bad it was!😵‍💫

Sounds like when I took my parents to see the Frank Zappa movie " 200 Motels ". 4 people in the theater and my mom said if she knew where the car keys were, she would have left. I did like the first Joker movie - it's part of my " Mental Illness Awareness Month " film lineup. :-X
