Something new from the DLP camp. I found this on here (https://ht-press.com/2022/10/28/ti-to-bring-light-steering-technology-using-the-95-chip-set/)and here (https://ht-press.com/2022/10/14/hands-on-with-the-ti-dlp-auto-headlight-demo/)is a video here showing the technology applied to automobile headlamps.
To early to know if they will apply this to deepen black levels or to increase HDR. Barco will launch their version of LST next year.

While I do not know enough about the technology it can't be too inefficient, there remains enough light to light up the big cinema screens.

Easy to do with 20,000 + lumen projectors that cost a million dollars. The Christie Eclipse is close to 1/2 a million.
