Here are some interesting slides from JVC that show their Frame Adapt HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping solution. Most interesting is they show how tone mapping changes within a single movie, and they show the evolution of the current Frame Adapt HDR solution compared to earlier JVC auto tone mapping and static tone mapping solutions.
