Title: infinite 4k
Post by: bmoney on February 07, 2022, 11:32:01 AM
Movie 6/10
Picture 10/10
Atmos 9.25/10

I had never heard of this movie.  it was suggested by someone on the BEQ thread...so i checked it out.  Not a terrible movie...could def had been better...and built more on the premise (the possibilities are endless)

Mark Whalberg was his typical self...

the premise is some people are reincarnated and can remember their past.  and a few of THOSE people want it to stop and are trying to destroy them all.

the picture quality was pristine!  def ref quality....and the audio was great as well...could have used a bit more use of ATMOS top speakers....but bass and directionality was nice

worth a rental, if your prepare to turn your brain off for a couple hours and drink in the eye candy

I like a lot of Antoine Fuqua's films. This sure got hammered at Rotten Tomatoes though.

yeah i tend to not pay attention to reviews and judge for myself.  there are plenty of 90%+ RT scores that are just awful movies

True. If critics pan it but audience reviews are good, I'll look further. If both critics and audience members give it a 3% for instance, I'll read the reviews for entertainment! Like this -

Pinocchio - Rotten Tomatoes

What can one say about a balding 50-year-old actor playing an innocent boy carved from a log?

I can't say this enough: This movie is about an adult male dressed in pink jammies.
