       May I ask  your opinion on wiring. I am getting a MacIntosh 170 processor and a Mac 1.25 amp. What is the best brand of wire. My dealer suggests Transparent. A friend suggested Straight Wire
 
Then from my amp to my Revel Salon speakers what speaker wire? Along with. The two mentioned any suggestions?

And has anyone ever heard of Shunyata?

speaker wire is speaker wire.  any other info is snake oil.
