Hmmm... that's not it. The issue is playing HDR 4k/120Hz in certain conditions. The HDMI standard used in the panasonic HDMI is not as per standard - and that's the source of the issue.
This demo video means absolutely nothing. To resolve this issue requires a mass callback of all affected receivers, and replacement of their HDMI boards with corrected (or ones with new hardware versions) ones.

I doubt that will happen anytime soon - maybe JD will chime in with an update.
