Title: Anthem Mrx 1120 or the Marantz SR80

Which would you prefer the Anthem Mrx 1120or the Marantz SR8015?

It is for 77 inch LG 4k TV, An Atmos system using Sonance in wall speakers, and a Oppo 205 player.

Either one will be very good. I personally use the Anthem and am very pleased with the performance.

Post by: Paul Heroy on October 21, 2020, 03:54:28 PM: One is a receiver the other a processor that needs an external amp so this is a bit apples vs oranges. If you're talking in-wall speakers this doesn't sound like a serious music system and I would lean toward the AVR for sure, for this type setup.
