Hello,
I am trying to decide which way to go between the RS620 with a 400 lamp (and a new one) with no warranty unless I add a 3rd party one...vs a brand new RS540.
From what I can tell...the advantages of the RS620 should be a better lens and slightly higher contrast.
The advantages for the RS540 are well, its new, 3 year warranty, HDR with 4k (but I am using madvr so that kind of makes this even), no banding with CMD?
If you have gone from a 620 or 520 to a 540, please share some feedback.
Thanks!

What sort of price difference is there? I'd say the 620 could be worth it depending on how much more the seller is asking.

I would lean toward the 540 in that scenario, but I make use of HDR (not tone mapped to SDR outside the projector) and find that unit to unit variation could matter more than the spec difference.
Update: Woops, now I see this was a month ago and you have probaly already chosen!
What did you end up choosing and what do you think about it?
