I'm looking forward to seeing what new toys are demoed. Do you have any favorite booths that you visit?
I went back years ago when it was in Atlanta, 2010 maybe. I absolutely loved the Focal booth and an upstart company called GoldenEar. Both had awesome demos despite the noise from the floor. It was the big year for 3D front projection but I actually wasn't too impressed with the 3D demos. However, JVC had a very nice 2D booth that I actually thought looked better than any other video demo that year.

So has there been any real news of note? I get the impression there's not much in the way of projector intros this year, aside from an Epson model or two that still aren't native 4K.

Just firmware improvements ( JVC and Sony ) and the MadVR Envy. And Stewart has a new case for the Luxus electric screen.

At some point I'll have to pick your brain about a 2:35 electric screen from Stewart. I don't have the funds right now, but want to start the sales process with my CFO. Also, I have to figure out how to install one, since I've never done that before.
