I can't really remember where I got these settings from. I didn't personally own the type of equipment necessary to fine tune a calibration. So, I kind of looked around and tried other people's settings and tweaked what I saw a little. To start I found some that were set up using Calibration Software from a disc that looked really good to my eye and went from there. Anyway, here is what I am using for my picture settings! I don't know if this will be of help to anyone or not, but they sure did work for me!

Thanks for the continuing information flow, Spike. I haven't been ignoring you, just desperately (at least it feels that way) spending all extra time trying to learn about and get my current Vizio working with the (probably temporary) Samsung K8500 that I had ordered before get word about the OPPO. (Still have to :) about that!)
Anyway, from what I've been learning a Samsung KS9000 series remains top of my list. But you said it is curved while Amazon says Flat. ( https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN65KS9000-65-Inch-Ultra-Smart/dp/B01C5TFNN2/ref=sr_1_1?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1481863860&sr=1-1&keywords=samsung+ks9000 ) Flat is why I was interested although you said you've come to like the curve.

The model that I purchased is curved (visible in pics above). They may have added a new flat panel; I haven't looked to see if that is true. Enjoy your set up.. Merry Christmas to you! Enjoy
