Not a new projector per se, but we´ll be tagging alongside Alcons Audio once more to showcase the final version of the MotoMask PRO masking frame system, featuring the new TextileShield (www.textileshield.com) protected UltraWeave V6 AT fabric. Screen size will be 3,5m width (11 1/2 ft width) 16:9 native 1-way masked to 2.40:1 as the room is smaller this year.
Projector will most probably be a Sony VPL-VW5000ES (5k lumen 4K laser) as this was used at ISE in Amsterdam this year and performed very well at that time. Full immersive audio system, featuring 6 overhead speakers using their new 90x60 dispersion pro-ribbons, a pack of subs (4-6x 18" of their new subsonic >10Hz response variants) +++ (meaning top-of-the line audio processor and so on).
This time the demo will be located at the showroom floor, booth SR-12 (https://cedia.a2zinc.net/CEDIA2018/Public/eventmap.aspx?shavailable=1&mapid=384&_ga=2.215663063.1387514486.1532133039-1129650719.1531602412).
As for content we will be showcasing a variety of native 4K UHD clips in 16:9 native as well as cinescope. I am sure they will add some nice concert cuts as well.
Show layout is once again planned out by the very talented Walter Fortmuller.
Hope to see a lot of you guys there!!

Me too. I could afford one until I factored in the divorce. :-X :o ::)

I had to put in writing to my bride that I would not upgrade my new RS4500 projector for at least 5 years. But given it's abilities, lumens, laser source, etc, I think I made the right decision. (even though I have had 4 projectors in the last 5 years!!)
