If you have a projector using the 4096 chipset and you want to use an anamorphic lens to achieve a scope ratio you will need an anamorphic lens with a stretch of 1.25. Most consumer anamorphic attachments have a stretch of 1.33 which when coupled with a 4096 projector will result in too wide an image.
Here is a picture of the Isco cinema anamorphic lens with the 1.25 stretch side by side with the popular consumer Isco with a 1.33 stretch.
The cinema lens is a monster with excellent optics.
