What do you use for calibrating software for 4K? I have various 1080P discs, but i don't know what is the best disc to use to perform a calibration.

Thanks, hopefully someone will come out with one soon as I would like to calibrate our family room 4k set.

I found a set of patterns to measure grayscale in UHD HDR.. And that was a huge help to get the low level gamma tracking sorted out and get a understanding how the SMPTE 2084 works.

Ill think no matter what display you use you will need HDR convertion as no one will do 1000-10000nit..  Im using the Panasonic UB900 and its best to never use the gamma convertion adjustment to compensate for to dim display, turning the converter up adds white clipping, and as i see it you can get around that if you can just reach around 200-250nit, over that ill guess you can start turning the converter down.

there is also an easter egg on 4k sony discs by hitting 7669 in the menu of the movies....it allows you to set white clipping
